Officer Voting Ballot 2012-2013

Aimee Clare
I, Aimee Clare, would like to become vice president of Pi Tau Sigma California Sigma Eta Chapter. I want to have a leadership position in this society; I am running for VP specifically so I can assist in inducting new members. I hope to be as helpful as possible in this process, because PTS is a very prestigious organization that I hope more prospective mechanical engineers will join.

Brian Iorga
Hello fellow PTS members, my name is Brian Iorga and I am a senior here a CSULB. I joined Pi Tau Sigma in the fall of 2011, since then I have really enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer and be a part of this society. I am now looking to get more involved, as well as take on more responsibility in this society; therefore, I would like to be considered for the position of vice president for 2012-2013. As vice president, I will oversee the initiation of new members as well as work hard to develop new ways that our honor society can reach out and benefit our engineering community on campus. I appreciate your consideration and thank you for your time.

Jose Reyes
For the entire time that I have been involved with Pi Tau Sigma, I have seen how well organized this organization has been. A lot of that fell on the shoulders of Bryan. Now I hope to continue that same effectiveness that he has established as the secretary. I will ensure all of my tasks will be done to the best of my abilities. I will also involve myself in anything I can to do my part to keep Pi Tau Sigma growing as an organization. Joining Pi Tau Sigma has been one of the best decisions I've made and I wish to give back to it by taking on the responsibility as your secretary. Thank you.

Kevin John C. Vargas
I, Kevin John C. Vargas, would like hold office for the Pi Tau Sigma Sigma Eta Chapter.
I am interested in office positions of AESB representative or secretary. I want to familiarize myself and become more involved in this organization. I am a second year college student with a Junior standing. I joined e-Life (Leaders in Freshman Engineering) where I participated in leadership building skills, communication development, and conflict resolution. I want the opportunity to apply what I learned in this organization. I am trustworthy, reliable and responsible. If I become an officer, I am determined to do my duties properly!

I would like to run for Vice President or Secretary of PTS because I think that I can help the new president with ideas and ways to help the honors society grow and more known throughout the campus. I am organized and would be able to assist the president efficiently with what needs to be done whether it be a form or leading the new initiates to be excited to be in PTS! By going to the convention I can see how much work goes into running the club and the constant reminder to make PTS known around campus. I'd love to be on the board for next year.

Ryan Roebuck
I am interested in running for Treasurer of Pi Tau Sigma. I manage my finances very well, with no credit card debt to boot. I occasionally assist in handling money for my social fraternity, and stay very organized in both my educational and social endeavors. Additionally, I am very careful with my money as well as that of others, and would do my best to encourage smart spending over the next semester.

Sarah D'Avella
My name is Sarah D’Avella and I am very excited to run for the position of Pi Tau Sigma president for the 2012-2013 academic year. As your current vice president, I have become familiar with PTS and CSULB processes and procedures. I also have a working knowledge of how PTS operates nationally as well, having attended our 2012 national convention. As I stated in running for vice president, I feel that I can provide PTS with continuity of leadership – an element crucial to its survival and growth. My ability to provide our society with stability will ensure that all of our current efforts to help our newly re-founded chapter and recently established tutoring center grow are continued through a smooth leadership transition.
As president, I and will uphold our ideals of sociability and community service through further development of social activities and hopefully through the establishment of scholarships for PTS members. I promise that if elected, I will work diligently to help achieve every goal we set for PTS California Sigma Eta and I will take a personal interest in the well being of all of its members. I truly appreciate your consideration for this position.

I would like to be considered for Vice-President and Secretary. I am very proud to be in this honor society, and I would like to give back to it and the students in it by being an officer. I have a lot of ideas and goals for this organization, and would like to be in a position to implement them and see them met. I would like to be considered for both Vice-President and Secretary because I would like to be an officer, and if I am not elected in one position, I would like the other position to be a potential spot as well.

Tyler Woolf
I would like to run for PTS Treasurer so that I can be more involved on campus as well as more involved with my peers and colleagues. By running for this office I feel that I will excel in both. By being more involved on campus I will be able to have a much more well-rounded experience in college as well as the opportunity to meet new people and have more school spirit and pride. By being more involved with my peers and colleagues I will know more people that can help me in my education and I can help them as well. By holding this position I can also help be a strong voice in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I plan to follow through with being a strong voice by trying to get the members of PTS Honors Society priority registration. This will be of great benefit to both current and future members, and I plan to work on this project in the coming semesters. I would be honored to run for the position of Treasurer for Pi Tau Sigma Honors Society.
