Boulder Lake-Multigenerational Stewardship Day Hikes
Thursday, June 24th and Saturday, June 26th

Join Ascend for two different full day outings to Big Boulder Lake in the Trinity Alps that will involve stewardship projects and day hiking. The Thursday hike will primarily involve brush removal, while the Saturday hike will include brush removal and sawing.  Lunch, tools and safety equipment provided.  Boulder Lake is approximately 2 miles from the trailhead.

This experience is open to all ages, however any participating youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Stewardship is a key element of this experience and we expect that all participants, including youth, will actively participate in the project, maintain a positive attitude in a group setting throughout the trip and adhere to applicable COVID-19 protocols.

The group will meet in Weaverville at 730 am and carpool/caravan to the trailhead. Return time to Weaverville will be approximately 530.  The Boulder Lake Trailhead is at the end of a decent 11 mile dirt road that turns off of Highway 3 near Coffee Creek.
