The Morning Pages Study
You are being asked to be in a research study. The purpose of this study is to understand the experience, habits, and perceived effects of writing morning pages.
This survey is intended for people who have, or attempt to have, a habit of writing morning pages. For this survey, "morning pages" are stream-of-consciousness style freewriting. They can be written on paper, drawn, or typed. They do not need to be written everyday, nor for a specific length or amount of time. They also do not need to written in the morning.

If you decide to participate, you will be one of 250 people in this research study.

It will take 5 minutes of your time.
If you agree to be in the study, we will ask you to do the following things:

1. Describe your writing practice in a short online survey.

2. If invited for a follow-up phone interview, spend an hour talking to the researcher about your practice. While the audio for the phone interview will be recorded for data collection purposes, your answers will remain confidential and any data shared from the interview will be done so anonymously.

You will never be asked to share your writing as a part of this study.
