School Streets Resident and Resident Carer Exemption Application
This application form is for Resident and Resident Carer School Street exemptions only.

Please complete a separate application for each vehicle. Multiple vehicle applications will not be accepted.

Resident Exemption

This is for vehicles which are usually kept and insured at the application address, used by people who reside at the address. A maximum of three exempt vehicles is permitted per household for resident exemptions.

Resident Carer Exemption

This is for formal/informal carers who provide care at the address of the resident. A maximum of two exempt vehicles is permitted per household for resident carer exemptions. Please note that residents must apply on behalf of their carers for a Resident Carer Exemption.

If you have a child which attends a school, which has a school street, who has needs requiring them to be dropped in the school street area you must contact the school directly.

Please note, no payment is required with this application. Once received it will be assessed and you will be sent further correspondence confirming your application has been approved.

Personal data has been collected by the London Borough of Sutton and Saba Park Services UK Ltd in order to process your permit application. Your personal data may be collected, processed, shared and retained in order to carry out the performance of a public task and fulfil our legal obligations in the following ways:

- To verify the information contained within the application and assess eligibility.
- Shared with third parties for appeals and enforcement.  Full details of third parties are available in our privacy policy on our website at www.sutton.gov.uk 
- Shared with the police or security organisations to prevent or detect crime
- Data will be stored for a period of six years from the date of permit expiry or as long as you have a valid permit, whichever is longer.

You also have the right to object to or restrict our processing of your data. Under Data Protection law we must verify your identity and explain to you our reasons if we do not agree to carry out your request.
