The Morton Arboretum Volunteer Group Workday Request
All workdays are outside in our Natural Areas. The Arboretum's 900 acres of natural areas include the 100-acre Schulenberg Prairie, woodlands, savannas, six lakes, four marshes and wetlands, a brook, and the East Branch of the DuPage River. Volunteers help maintain all of these areas. Activities include removing invasive plants and cutting brush. All volunteers must be 18+ years old.

The Morton Arboretum occasionally has the opportunity to host group volunteer workdays. Volunteer group workdays are scheduled based on staff availability. Workdays may be canceled or rescheduled up to one hour in advance due to poor weather conditions.

We will reach out with preferred dates once we have our schedule for the growing season.
