What: DIRECT CONNECT: Trades Hiring Event - a curated networking experience connecting employers with skilled, ready-to-work talent

When: Friday, July 31, 2026 from 10a-1p in Philadelphia, PA (location details shared after registration)

Who: Employers in HVAC, Carpentry, Energy Efficiency, Plumbing, Building Maintenance, Property Management, Roadway Construction/Traffic Control, and Residential Construction, Masonry/Cement actively hiring for entry-level positions (helper, trainee, apprentice, Technician I, etc.) with a start date in late-Summer to early-Fall

Why: 

  • TRAINEES: Connect trainees to employers in the industry they’re interested in; demonstrate their skills, projects, and program milestones to employers
  • EMPLOYERS: First access to our cohort of trainees to meet hiring needs; ability to screen individuals in-person for open positions

- Mingling and Digital Portfolio Discovery

*Light fare will be provided for employers and job seekers
