Green Grounds: Ponder & Participate
Two years ago the GSTF began exploring Permaculture as a way to deepen our congregational commitment to our Seventh Principle, and to help us fulfill our Paris Pledge to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.  But as we began talking about our outdoor spaces and all the possibilities they offer, many of us realized that for us, despite all the maintenance and beautification work, the grounds are just what we have to walk through to get from our cars to the Meeting Room.

What if our UU worship experience began the moment we set foot on our campus?  What would it take for our grounds to become an expression of ourselves as UUs?

Green Grounds, a subcommittee of the GSTF, invites your participation as we develop our visions.  Please join us on October 25 and November 1, 9:30am - 2pm, in Fellowship Hall to learn and plan with us.  Register here: http://bit.ly/2kIOAV8

If you can't make it in person, please answer as many of the following questions as you wish, so your input can be part of our discussions.

What kinds of things do you wish there were spaces for on the church grounds?
In what ways could our outdoor spaces help us in our mission to “seek the spirit, build community, and change the world”?
How could our grounds better embody our values as a congregation (including a commitment to the Earth and care of people)?
Would you like to be involved in the visioning process?
