Fresh U Marymount Contributor Application
Fresh U is an online publication for freshmen, by freshmen. We’re focused on content meaningful to freshmen, something overlooked by general college websites or school newspapers. This isn’t just an online destination for freshmen – Fresh U gives freshmen the opportunity to become published writers and to be involved in the process of running their own publication. A Fresh U chapter is a freshmen-focused online publication that produces local content about your campus and city. Here you can apply to write or contribute photos to your school's Fresh U chapter.

As a Contributing Writer, you will be responsible for creating locally focused content for your chapter. You will form pitches and meet deadlines assigned by your chapter's Editor-in-Chief. You will also specify if you prefer to write weekly, biweekly. Articles can be at least 250 words long and can vary in form: personal narratives, news reports, photo essays, videos, etc. You will produce quality work and share your articles once published.

As a multimedia or photo contributor, you will be responsible for taking pictures of your campus that will be used for Fresh U articles and social media accounts.
