Convictions that Unite Us as a Coalition

We are a coalition of churches and ministries committed to the shared mission of gospel transformation in the Quad Cities. While we may differ on non-essential matters, we stand united in the following core convictions, which form the foundation for our collaboration and leadership:

  1. The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God, sufficient for salvation, truth, and life.

  2. The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  3. The Lordship and Uniqueness of Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, the only way to salvation, crucified for our sins, risen from the dead, and returning again.

  4. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is a gift of God, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works.

  5. The Sanctity of Life
We believe all human life is sacred and created by God, beginning at conception and worthy of dignity and protection.

  6. God’s Design for Marriage and Gender
We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman for life, and that gender is given by God and not self-determined.

Participation Commitments

To be part of this Coalition, participating churches and organizations agree to:

  • Uphold the Core Beliefs publicly and in practice.

  • Contribute toward the mission of reaching 67,000 people through evangelism, discipleship, and prayer.

  • Track and report shared metrics monthly, including salvations, baptisms, prayer events, and discipleship/evangelism engagement.

  • Participate in the annual November Celebration Sunday, acknowledging and celebrating what God is doing across our region.

  • Embrace a Kingdom posture of generosity and unity, sharing resources, volunteers, and support without competition or expectation of recognition.

Unity in Diversity

We are gospel-centered and also recognize that many churches have different theological convictions on non-essential matters. We welcome those differences as long as they do not contradict the core beliefs above. This Coalition is not about uniformity of style or secondary doctrine—it’s about unity in mission, love, and faithfulness to the Gospel.

Leadership Participation
Churches or organizations that publicly teach or practice in contradiction to the core beliefs listed above will not be eligible to participate in leadership roles or represent the Coalition. However, we are always open to dialogue, prayer, and partnership in other ways.
