A completed application is valid for six (6) months. Applicants may expect to a telephone call from a Career Link employee within two (2) weeks from the submission date.
Career Link does not use criminal histories to exclude applicants from career or training services, but instead uses the information to identify potential barriers and to create a more comprehensive individual employment plan. If a criminal background check is needed to participate in a training program or to secure employment, work experience or on-the-job training in the related field, a Career Planner will search public court records.
The completion and submission of this application does not ensure approval to receive Career Link services. A thorough assessment will be conducted to determine if Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) program requirements are met.
