⚡Energy Talks & Visits 2024: Linking Science, Policy Makers, Industry and Young Researchers
🌿 Welcome to the registration form for Energy Talks, a series of activities and presentations about energy in Belgium. This year we are organizing 3 exciting activities!
  • On May 16th from 9.30 to 12am, we will welcome outstanding speakers to discuss the topic of Solar Energy in all aspects of policy making (Solar Power Europe), industry (Sirona Technologies) and research (TBA).
  • On May 29th, a visit of the SCK CEN nuclear research centre and the Tabloo exposition in Mol will be organized with a presentation of the Myrrha prototype coupled accelerator-reactor and visit of its technical mock-ups to demonstrate relevant aspects of lead cooled reactor technology, followed by the Tabloo science exhibition on radioactivity, waste management and nuclear research. Lunch is provided.
  • On June 7th from 8.30am to 1pm, a visit at Elia academy in Brussels will be organized to get a clearer image of the inner workings of the Belgian electricity network, including a presentation of the Elia activities, the visit of a high-voltage substation and the National Control Center and a free lunch.
