Volunteer Trail Survey Takers - Erie-Lackawanna Trail, Lake County, IN
The Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC) is looking for volunteers to conduct personal surveys on the Erie-Lackawanna Trail this year. As part of the 2017 Indiana Trails Study, nine trails throughout Indiana will be closely researched, with data on users counts, preferences and economic impact being measured.

NIRPC would needs volunteers to work two hour shifts during three times of day - 7 to 9 am, 12 to 2 pm, and 5 to 7 pm. We need these times filled for SEVEN consecutive days from May 29th to June 4th, and also weeks starting on July 24th and September 25th. If you are able to help out ANYTIME during the week during those timeframes, please consider helping! We will provide basic training and all the materials you need.

You will either be located at a trailhead, or at a public location off of the trail to help gauge a control group. We will be in contact with you to talk about options.

For additional information, please contact Mitch Barloga at NIRPC at mbarloga@nirpc.org. THANK YOU!
