Durham Delivers - Community Captain Sign Up
Thank you for your interest in signing up to be a Community Captain for the Durham Delivers program! Our local restaurants are so thankful for your support.

Durham Delivers connects residential hubs to bulk delivery orders from local restaurants. It's not feasible for many restaurants to work with individual delivery apps due to already tight margins and high fees. Durham Delivers mobilizes a group of people in the same area to place individual orders for a predetermined delivery time and location. As a Community Captain, you will serve as the liaison between the restaurant and your living community. We will provide you with links and text templates to make the communication strategy with your residents as simple as possible. You will not be responsible for handling any payments or orders (aside from your own, of course!).

For dinner orders, what delivery time would work best? We suggest a 30-minute pickup window of time for residents (e.g. 5:30-6 p.m.). As community captain, you will need to be present for the duration of that time to ensure the meals are all picked up. Delivery locations will also need remain accessible throughout that window of time. *
