Join us on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Champion HS at 201 Charger Blvd from 11:30am – 2pm and Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 12:30pm - 2:25pm at Boerne HS - One Greyhound Lane (This event is 100% outdoors, in the school courtyard) NEW: This year we are adding Workforce Wednesday for Special Needs Students on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 11:30am - 1pm at Mitchell Learning Center - 123 Johns Road (This event will be held indoors). This is a great opportunity for you to meet our high school students and share with them your employment, internship, or volunteer opportunities. 

COST: For businesses the cost is $100 & the cost is $50 for non-profits. This cost includes an opportunity to be at all 3 of the Workforce Wednesdays or you can chose which ones you want to attend by checking the box down below.

RAFFLE PRIZE: We are also asking each vendor to provide a prize that we can place into a raffle for our high school students, as a way of encouraging them to attend and actively engage with the vendors.  The prize can should be an actual item, not a gift card.

SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS: You will receive a table at the event (a table will be available at each campus for your use). Feel free to bring a table linen (it will be a 6 ft. or 8 ft. table), signage, flyers, job applications, swag, etc. Vendors cannot bring food to giveaway or serve to students as this would be in violation of our food service contract.  We have wi-fi at our campuses, so you can bring a laptop for students to fill out an application on-site or have a QR code ready to share with our students so they can visit your website and/or job application, if they want to fill it out at a later date.  When it comes to attire, please wear comfortable shoes and when we have our outdoor Workforce Day feel free to wear shorts, sunglasses, and a hat.

UNLOADING: On CHS Workforce Wednesday on May 7th unload at 11:45am at Champion HS.  BHS Workforce Wednesday on May 14th unload at 10:45am at Boerne HS, since this location is outside feel free to bring a tent/canopy, as shade is limited in the courtyard.   On Mitchell Learning Center Workforce Wednesday on May 21st unload at 10:45am at Mitchell Learning Center.  At all locations, please be mindful of our limited parking spaces, as some are reserved for our students and/or our staff. You might consider carpooling for this event.  In addition, per our Chief Security Officer - PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the drop-off/pick-up loop as we need this area clear in case of an emergency. 

FAQs:
 Can I pay by credit or debit card? No, we only accept payment by check made payable to: Boerne ISD.
 What if I only want to be at one campus? The cost is still the same for one day or all 3 days.  
 Why is the lunch time the best time to meet with the students? We were intentional with this decision, so we can give our students time to go to lunch and plenty of time to talk with vendors.
 Will we only see the high school seniors at this event? Not necessarily, we are encouraging all high school students to attend from each campus, as their schedule permits.
 What are the restrictions on vendor signage? You cannot affix any signage to our walls. But you are welcome to bring free standing signage or any table signage.
 What if I need a power source? We will not have electricity available for vendors at this event.
 What are some ideas of giveaways at our tables? High school students love swag, promotional items, plastic sunglasses, pens, notepads, koozies, etc.
 When should I drop off the prize for the raffle for the students? You can bring it with you the day of the first Workforce Day event. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE US A GIFT CARD, THE STUDENTS PREFER AN ITEM THEY CAN SEE ON THE RAFFLE TABLE. We only need one raffle item, we do the drawing the following week after all 3  Workforce Days have taken place. Please give your raffle item to Yvette Reyna or Melanie Bostic upon your arrival.
