ITA Parent Evaluation
Parents can provide valuable feedback to teachers about their child's experience in the classroom. Use this feedback to better understand how to make your classroom more valuable to all students.

This evaluation helps the accreditation board understand the applicant’s abilities as seen by the student’s parents.   It identifies if applicants have a good relationship with the parents as it relates to the teacher’s interaction with their student.

For this evaluation, the parent will be asked a series of questions about the teacher and their interaction with them.  It is imperative that the parent reflects on each question and answer them honestly and specifically.  There are no right or wrong answers, but the answers will help the accreditation board guide the professional development activities of the teacher.

Provide as much detail as you can for each answer.

Before you begin the parent evaluation:

  1. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection.
  2. Take your time and think critically about your answers.
  3. Be honest and objective when evaluating the teacher.
  4. Be specific and concrete and use examples to better define your answers.
  5. Review your answers before submitting the evaluation.

Review your evaluation and submit it when you are satisfied.

Options:

Parent takes evaluation online or parent fills out paper-based evaluation and teacher inputs online.
