Thank you for your interest in being a ROOM PARENT for the 2026-2027 school year!
As room parent, your main role is to serve as a liaison between the Grade Level Coordinator (GLC) and your teacher & classroom, communicating information and volunteer needs to parents as they arise. GLCs will provide all room parents with plenty of support throughout the year!
In general, room parents:
1: Use WhatsApp to communicate with the parents in the class
2: Coordinate with the teacher to discuss needs/expectations for their classroom
3. Setup and clean up before & after the December class party & facilitate volunteers throughout the party
4: Organize and collect items for the GatorPalooza class basket
5: Email classroom or grade-specific volunteer needs to parents
NOTE: Please list all your kiddos at SCE, but you will only be assigned Room Parent for one classroom! Also, by filling this form out, it does not guarantee you will be selected as a Room Parent.
