Workshop on Mathematics of Economics & Climate, July 15-17, 2019
The aim of this collaborative workshop is to gather Climate Scientists, Mathematicians and Economists to address key questions around ongoing climate change and its connections with the development of economic systems. The workshop will address problems related to mathematical modelling, uncertainty quantification and prediction in the coupled climate-economy system. It will highlight interactions between both components and also future policy options (e.g. geoengineering) to limit climate change below dangerous thresholds. There will be ample time for discussion during the workshop in order to facilitate the development of joint projects.

The workshop will be held in the period July 15-17, 2019 at Kontakt der Kontinenten in Soesterberg, the Netherlands.  For planning your travel: we plan to start at 9am on Monday and close at 3pm on Wednesday.

Workshop size is limited to 40 participants.
