Thank you for your interest in hosting a Ukrainian family or individual. In 2023, the surge of hosts has subsided, the story is no longer so prominently in the news, and yet the need for hosts to help refugees come to the UK is still great. We are currently in contact with hundreds of refugees waiting for a host to enable them to come to the UK, so we urgently need your help. Please fill out this 5 minute form and we will get back to you to discuss your offer soon.

The Communities for Ukraine programme is a collaboration between two charities, Citizens UK and Ukrainian Sponsorship Pathway UK (USPUK), that have been awarded ‘Recognised Provider’ status by the UK Government to match refugees with hosts under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.

Having established a blueprint for sustainable, safe, and scalable refugee resettlement through community sponsorship, Communities for Ukraine have successfully secured hosts for almost 1000 Ukrainians in the UK, this year we are ambitiously scaling our programme to match the need to help more than 10,000 Ukrainians reach safe homes in the UK.

We were able to achieve this safe, sustainable and well-supported system by working with organisations across the UK, called Resettlement Partners, who act as matching coordinators. The matches have been carefully and personally considered to ensure lasting relationships, resulting in a less than 1% breakdown throughout our scheme.

The following form requests information about yourself and your accommodation which we will need in order to find a suitable match. Once you have completed this form, USPUK or one of our partner organisations will contact you by email shortly.

I understand that I must obtain a character reference supporting my suitability to host.

The reference must be sent from someone from your community, neighbourhood or workplace who has known you for at least 3 years and can vouch for your good character. The reference should be sent to this email address (sponsors@uspuk.org) in the form of a short letter including information about you as a person and why you would be good for this role. Character references cannot be provided by family members. If the reference is provided by a registered charity, please make sure you include the registered charity number.
