As part of the workshop, students will engage in hands-on science, technology and engineering activities. Students will choose three hands-on activities which consist of designing and building anti-stress tools during the workshop. These include building the following items: 1) STEM for Stress website; 2) Mechanical Homework Timer; 3) DIY Fidget Spinner; and 4) DIY Stress Ball. The STEM for Stress Website is a customizable website that teaches the basics of HTML/CSS. The Mechanical Homework Timer is a DIY water timer using physics and mechanical engineering. The DIY Fidget Spinner uses creative materials to create the fastest fidget spinner. Finally, the DIY Stress Ball will let you combine different materials to make the perfect stress ball. Since materials are limited, we want to accommodate your preferences. What is your First Choice? *
