Book an Introduction Course
The primary aim of our introduction course is to make you SAFER.  Anyone completing our introduction course will have improved and benefited sufficiently to have made their lives better, even if they decide not to graduate onto formal classes.

Many martial arts courses aim to introduce the practitioner to their techniques.  We understand that for many taking the decision to join a fitness organisation is uniquely tough in that this may be the first time many have chosen to undertake any form of formal exercise in a long time.

Being safer does not just include being safe in the training hall.  Being safer also means leading a safer life in general, being able to protect yourself not just from physical harm but also from the ravages of illness and disease.  

Our introduction course, carried out over 8 x 45min weekly sessions is designed to educate, improve confidence and introduce you to the basic movements needed to graduate onto formal classes should you wish to do so.  We don't promise outlandish results but instead guarantee that by the end of the course you'll be surprised by what your body can do.

No prior knowledge is required to complete the course, and the course is suitable for all ages, genders and levels of fitness.

WK1 - Self-Defence Theory
WK2 - Nutrition and Exercising Theory
WK3 - Introduction to Workouts
WK4 - Body dynamics:  basic exercise movement
WK5 - Introduction to Sword Part 1
WK6 - Introduction to Sword Part 2
WK7 - Rolling and falling
WK8 - Introduction to unarmed defence

Introduction courses are held at Leon Leisure Centre in Bletchley, MK2 3HQ, between 6.30 and 7.30 on Wednesday evenings.  For further details please email

The course cost is £80 per person, which works out to £10 per class.  Upon successful completion of the course you will be presented with a certificate of completion and invited to join formal classes.

To enrol, please complete the form below and pay the enrolment fee using the PayPal link provided below.  On the day simply turn up to class wearing suitable exercise clothing.  You don't need any further equipment.
