Community Volunteer Day at Enchanted Hills Camp

Last October, a devastating series of wildfires broke out in the North Bay which severely damaged Enchanted Hills Camp. The wildfire destroyed almost 29 of our lower camp structures in the redwoods, including the 10 cabins that have housed hundreds of summer campers and counselors every year since 1950.

This past summer, Enchanted Hills welcomed back campers for the first time since the devastating fires. While blind campers have played, roamed, and grown over this past summer, our camp needs help regrowing as well!

Will you help us?

We are hosting a Volunteer Day at Enchanted Hills Camp on Saturday, October 6th. We will be coming together as a community to rebuild our home away from home. Our projects will focus on clearing of debris from the fire and fire abatement to protect the camp from future fires, which may include things like removal of invasive species and replanting.

Please note:
- The volunteer jobs will be outside and standing up for long periods. The temperature in early October will likely be warm, dry, and sunny.
- Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and bring work/gardening gloves if you have them.
- Bring a reusable water bottle.

We only have a limited number of spaces, so RSVP to volunteer today!

      • When: Saturday, October 6th
      • Time: 9:30 am – 3 pm, with a BBQ lunch
      • Where: Enchanted Hills Camp | 3410 Mt. Veeder Road, Napa 94558
      • Age: All volunteers must be at least 14 years old. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian with you.
