Mini Memoirs - Richmond
Participatory Public Art Project in Richmond, VA
Inspired by the book Not Quite What I was Planning: Six Word Memoirs from Writers Famous and Obscure, edited by Larry Smith and Rachel Fershleise we decided to let Richmond tell their own stories.
We are partnering with James River Writers, Richmond Peace Education Center and Interfaith Council of Greater Richmond to bring this participatory community project as part of this year’s Peace Festival - Sept 10 and as the launch of our fall 2016 season: The Narrative Thread: Story and the Search for Meaning.
