Storytelling through Media
April 12th, ATLS 104, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Led by Mitchell Wolfe

This workshop will explore how media can be used to tell stories within different mediums such as photography, video, games, animation, and comics. These mediums use their unique aspects that separate them from each other and traditional storytelling avenues. All of these aspects can be harnessed to better tell stories unique to these visual mediums. The workshop will cover many of these aspects by examining and discussing a selection of stories and then participants will plan and develop a story of their own with the goal of finding the best medium to tell their story. All experience levels welcome. Bring something to take pictures with and a computer if possible.

About me: Mitchell Wolfe is an ATLAS graduate school alum, Photographer, and adjunct instructor whose work explores how different media types interact within stories. His projects include video games, comics, animations, and photographic sets.
