The Badlands Amphitheatre is a non-profit charity dedicated to arts and culture situated on 400 acres of Canadian Badlands.
We host large and small music events, visual arts collaborations, festivals, theatre, and outdoor adventures.
The Badlands Amphitheatre has a maximum capacity of 2,525.
We are a nonprofit society with a defined charitable mandate focused on arts, culture, and public programming. We do not rent the entirety of our site or the main amphitheatre to outside producers. All programming is either produced internally or developed through collaboration with qualified partners. We do have some smaller venues that are open to rentals.
If you would like to propose a potential collaboration or production concept, please submit your information below.
Performance inquiries: Please provide links to your website or EPK. If you are submitting for a specific event make note of this in the form. Your submission will be reviewed by the Artistic Director. Due to high numbers of submissions, we may not be able to reply to everyone.
Collaboration inquiries: The Badlands Amphitheatre Society has multiple venues. The Forum, Hidden Valley Stage, and Big Tent are outdoor spaces that can accommodate a smaller group to a maximum of 300. The Badlands Arts Centre includes a second floor indoor Studio Space that can accommodate up to 200.
Private or group outdoor/behind-the-scenes tours: Are you looking for a specialized touring or hiking experience? If you would like to craft a personalized experience for yourself, a group (school, camp, family, etc.), provide as much detail as possible and we will be in touch with available times and rates.
Rental inquiries: Rental rates are based on the rental duration, chosen space, and intended use. Additional costs may apply for crew, front-of-house staff, specialized equipment, cleaning, security, and other necessary expenses. The Badlands Amphitheatre itself is primarily available for collaborations or co-productions. We accept inquiries on rentals for the Forum, Hidden Valley Stage, Big Tent, Studio Space, Arts Centre Lower Hall, and the Lodge.
All experiences on our 400-acre site are guided or supervised to ensure your safety and care for the land.
The Badlands Amphitheatre is not available for weddings or wedding photography.
The Badlands Amphitheatre property and stage are not available for public photography or film shoots without prior written consent.
