Heinz Ethics, in conjunction with PolyGlobal, presents a panel discussion on “Immigration: Who are the DACA immigrants and what is their status?”  (January 30, 2025; 6:15-7:30pm)

In 2012, the U.S. government created the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which temporarily provided young and undocumented immigrants protection from deportation and also legalized their employment while in the U.S. In the midst of our nation’s immigration debate, do we know and understand the current status of the country’s 530,000 DACA recipients? In the spirit of Mr. Heinz’s six pillars of character — trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship, this panel discussion will move beyond politics by focusing on who DACA recipients are, their stories, current rights, and how they are responding to continued legal uncertainty as a new administration enters the White House.

PolyGlobal will send out parking directions and venue location a day prior to this event.
