Exhibitor Guidelines
Festival exhibit booths typically fall into four categories:
  • Countries and Cultures: Highlight world cultures through art, music, clothing, education, and personal stories
  • Local Nonprofit Organizations: Provide information about ways your organization works to strengthen the local community
  • Vendors: Businesses or individuals that sell items directly related to promoting diversity (Examples from previous years: Fair trade gifts, Afrocentric bookseller, children’s books focused on inclusion)
  • Festival Sponsors: Sponsors at the diamond and platinum levels ($1,000+) share information about their business and often provide giveaway items to attendees
Because of a limited amount of space and our desire to prioritize exhibitors that align with the purpose of the festival, we are unable to accept exhibitors that fall outside of these categories. The festival committee and the leadership of First Presbyterian Church reserve the right to decline the participation of any exhibitor.

We ask everyone involved to be mindful of how cultures are represented, especially if we are in some way representing a culture we are not part of. Our hope is that the festival will be the start of larger conversations about building a more just, peaceful world. We do not wish to be simply a museum of cultural artifacts, but a respectful celebration of the diverse people who make up our community.

Practical Information
Exhibitors may set up beginning at 9:00am. Please have everything ready to go by 9:45.

Please provide your own canopy if you have one. We do have a limited number available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may request one on this form.

Tables and folding chairs will be provided. You may want to bring lawn chairs if you will be more comfortable.

Please plan to stay until 4:00 P.M. We are unable to provide a consistent experience for all festival-goers if exhibitors pack up and leave early.

We do not charge a fee for exhibitors. If you sell any merchandise at your booth, we ask that you make a donation to the Multicultural Festival to help support the event. You may determine the amount that seems appropriate.
Best Practices
Make your booth engaging. Is there an activity that people could get involved with? This is an opportunity to encourage people who are different from one another to connect.

Some ideas from the past: games people can play together, art activities, food to taste, musical instruments to play
