Arab America Ambassador Network Application
Arab America (www.arabamerica.com) is the leading provider of digital media to the Arab and non-Arab American community. With over four million Arab Americans in the U.S., our primary mission is to connect the diverse and growing community, while also acting as a bridge between Arab and non-Arab American mainstream communities. It is our goal to combat negative and prejudicial attitudes that millions of Americans have about Arab Americans and the Arab world.

Our Ambassador Network is designed to empower young community members to promote understanding between Arab Americans and the greater American society. The Ambassador Network represents an effort to unite the community through capacity building, while amplifying Arab America’s effectiveness as a resource that offers accurate information on Arab Americans and the Arab World.

We are seeking passionate, responsible, and dedicated students and professionals from around the nation to serve as Ambassadors for Arab America.

The positions are unpaid, but benefits for participating in the Ambassador Network include:

· A recommendation letter following one year of service (or one semester if an intern)
· A certificate of completion and a brief profile on the website
· Published content that can be shared on applications with future employers and programs
· Inclusion on resume for working in creative, journalistic, and leadership positions
· Experience in combating stereotypes and empowering Arab Americans who rely on your insight
