2019-2020 Monster Dash FUNd Run Registration! Event Date Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 4:30 - 6:30 pm
We are so excited about our upcoming Fund Run! This year, we will be celebrating the howling with a Halloween inspired Monster Dash, as the Fund Run will take place, Friday, November 1st!

The Fund Run is not only a family-friendly fun event aimed to keep kids active and strong, it is also an AIS FUNDraiser. Our students run or walk as many laps around our building as they can in one hour. We track the laps and celebrate as a community afterward.


Please register to run, and then gather pledges from friends and families. You may either collect pledges per lap run or collect flat donations. We want to keep the spirit of this event fun with the cause in mind. We will track laps for pledge collections, but please be mindful every participant will be an achiever! We will all celebrate our success of all the runners at the end with refreshments and treats. The number of bracelets your child receives indicates the number of laps run for your post-event pledge collections.

Family sponsorships and registration fees only cover the cost of t-shirts and event supplies, so thank you for donating to this amazing event!

We also need lots of volunteers to make this year's event a success! Thank you for signing up for a shift to help out during this fun-filled event on Friday November 1, 2019, during the week to help with preparation, Friday morning for set-up, or during the event for activities such as water station, handing out bracelets (per lap), awards, refreshments, or clean-up.. To participate, register below (ONE ENTRY PER PARTICIPANT- open the form again and register each student separately) and submit your $15 per participant payment (via the acceptiva link https://secure.acceptiva.com/?cst=6df527 or cash or check at reception). Optional Paper registration and pledge forms will be sent home in backpacks on Monday, 10/14 - so be on the lookout. You do not need a paper form to register if you register online, but you may use the paper pledge form to collect donations on behalf of the school and in honor of your student's run.

Please register by Monday, October 21st in order to participate! Registered participants will receive an awesome T-shirt that can be worn on Fridays. We will match shirt sizes based on availability for late registrations.

Please feel free to spread the word! AIS alumni, siblings, and other friends and family are welcome to join in as long as we have a registration for each participant.

WHAT: Austin International School's Monster Dash FUNd Run
WHEN: Friday, November 1, 2019, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
WHO: Students, faculty, staff, and all AIS families, friends, and neighbors to cheer you on and join in on the fun
WHERE: Austin International School, 4001 Adelphi Lane Austin, TX 78727
HOW: $15 entry fee per child participant to cover the cost of registration t-shirt and all the fun! All registered children
will get an event t-shirt.

*Register for the event by filling out the registration form and submitting it along with a $15 payment by Mon., 10/21/19.
*Collect pledges from family and friends based on how many laps you think you can complete around the school or in flat donations.

* Get plenty of rest, bring your refillable water bottle from home, and eat a good breakfast and lunch to stay energized!


* Celebrate the day and get pumped by showing your school Spirit. Wear school blue and green colors in creative ways: clothes, face paint, bows, ribbons, hair, etc. We’ll also have volunteers at the school to decorate hair and apply temporary tattoos in the morning. You can change into your run shirt before the event OR wear your favorite Halloween costume for the run.

*Students will need to be picked up at the regular time, as we need the time from 3:30 - 4:30 to set up for the race. Thank you for taking your student, unless registered for afterschool care, on a break to have a healthy snack and return at 4:15 to get ready for the race and warm-up which will start promptly at 4:30 pm.

*The parking lot will be blocked off in the afternoon. Please plan on utilizing street parking.

*Walk or run around the perimeter of the school (approx .2 miles) as many times as you want within a one hour time period. You can do your laps all at once or take breaks in between. We will have different lanes for younger and older kids. Parents, you are welcome to run with your kids.
*After your laps, enjoy a fun treat. Some refreshments will be provided as well.
