2018 National Virtual Debating Program - Expression of Interest
This form is to be used to nominate debating teams in the 2018 competition. It is open to all Australian independent schools.

The Expression of Interest (EOI) to establish the competition structure for 2018 closed on 17/11/2017. HOWEVER, the form is still live for entry and will be until late January 2018. At this stage there are still spaces in the Year 5 & 6 and Open division competitions. The Year 7 & 8 and Year 9 & 10 competitions are full but we encourage you to still express interest as you will be put down as a reserve with a reasonable chance of making it in when final details pan out in late January. 2018.

Filling in this form does not lock you into the process but PLEASE indicate serious intent only. After the EOI process, schools will be made an offer and then payment of fees will confirm entry.

This initiative is funded and managed by ISQ and AISNSW.

Schools are permitted only one team per division. Entry fees will apply per team in 2018 (as in 2017). Fees are $180 per team for 2018. These fees are used to pay for our adjudicators. All competitions will be "Double Elimination" structure in 2018 meaning all schools would need to lose twice before exiting. This structure means more debates for each team in most cases as compared to a straight knockout competition.
