41st Annual Hope Watermelon Festival - Thursday, August 10 through Saturday, August 12
This is an application and you will be notified if accepted. Payment is due when you are accepted.
Three types of spaces are available
Outdoor (10'x10') limited amount of 3-day air-conditioned spaces. Call for Details - $115
Open air covered for $35.00" is for HANDMADE CRAFTS only! $35.00 booths are located inside the barn.
Air-Conditioned Indoor (Saturday Only) - $90
*If electricity is needed, an additional fee of $10 will be charged
Payment & Agreement
Make checks payable to Hope Hempstead Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 250, Hope, AR 71802. If you have any questions call 870-777-3640. Acceptance: entry in this exhibit constitutes an automatic waiver of any claim for damage, , loss against the sponsors, any employees or representatives thereof. Both parties agree that in the vent of rain or other circumstances beyond the control of man, no refund or rent fee will be given. However, should the festival be canceled by arbitrary action of the festival staff, the deposit or rental fee will be refunded to the applicant. Any refund requests must be made in writing and are not guaranteed
Set Up Information
√ check in times are: Tues between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm or Wed between 9:15 am and 7 am, Thurs 9:00 am to 11:00 am. All vendor reps. report to the coliseum office to be shown to your space.
√ check in/set up times for Saturday-only space is between 6:00 am and 8:00 am.
√ The Festival Committee retains the privilege of changing locations of booths for unavoidable reasons.
√ each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own displays, stands, tables, chairs, etc. No tables or chairs will be available for rent.
√ exhibitors must make their own provisions for shade or rain when requesting outdoor or midway space. There is no guarantee of shade.
NO SMOKING IN COVERED OR INSIDE AREAS IS ALLOWED
NO TRAFFIC THROUGH FRONT GATE DURING SATURDAY'S 5-K RUN/WALK
Booth Operating Times
Booths shall be open the following times:
Thursday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
YOU MUST operate these hours and may stay open later as many people will come later.
Exhibitor Rules & Regulations
▲each exhibitor acknowledges his agreement to these rules and regulations by payment of space fee and signature on contract.
▲ only the juried crafter is to occupy the space. Sharing or subletting will result in forfeiture of booth.
▲ The Festival reserves the right to reject any inappropriate work or display and to ask any exhibitor to leave who fails to meet the overall standards of the Festival.
▲ artists must clear usage of the Hope Watermelon Festival with Festival Officials prior to appearing on site. The Festival will provide limited 24-hour security, but cannot assume liability for damage, loss or theft of an individual's work.
▲ The Festival Committee reserves the right to place vendors where space is available, unless PRE-PAID VENDOR APPLICATION AND SPACE FEE ARE PAID IN ADVANCE OF JULY 1, 2017.
→ RV/ Camper space should be reserved by contacting the Park Office at 870-77-7500 (There is not enough space available to allow selling from RV/Camper in the craft areas.)
→ Motel Reservations should be made as soon as possible.
