Reflecting on my role as a Parent or a Co-Passenger in my Teenager's journey?

Obviously parents with younger children would equally benefit from this reflection.

These self reflection questions are to take stock of our views, thoughts, actions, plans for my teenager and his/her learning and professional journey.
No option is wrong or right, they are just options.
The taking of the quiz is the whole idea - the responses perse are unimportant and none of us are really judging / grading anybody.
For each question, just to push your thinking - you can only choose one option.
Enjoy and discuss with your family members, specially your teen.

The quiz uses both the genders interchangeably.

1) I do not worry about my teen's future.
I believe in her capabilities. *

Oh! Yeah > I believe they would figure themselves out - simply because they can.

NO > I do worry quite a bit and end up stressing myself and even my child.

This is new for me. I would like to explore this more.

2) I do not want my teen to learn what the world wants him/her to learn.
I want him/her to do what he/she wants to do. *

Oh! Yeah> Their Interests and passions are the biggest learning engines.

No. I prefer the curriculum or agenda to be pre-decided - their job is to learn

I would like to explore this more.

3) I do not burden my teen with my or society's expectations.
With lighter wings, I know he/she can fly the way he/she wants. *

Oh! Yeah > Its their life!

NO. I end up benchmarking to societal norms and aligning to social status.

This is new for me. I would like to explore more.

4) I am in no hurry for my teen to find success.
I want him/her to experience failures, so that he/she discovers what is success for him/her. *

Oh! Yeah! I am mostly, just enjoying his journey.

No. The thought of failure scares me. I end up holding myself responsible.

I would like to explore this more.

5) I've no need to guide or provide for my teenager.
I am simply on his/her side. *

Oh! Yeah! I am available. They seeks me. I am there with them.

No. My job is to reduce his struggles and get things going for him.

I would like to explore this more.

6) I do not need to mould or fix my teenager's persona.
I rather help /himher understand herself.

No. I think I am supposed to groom him/her. She/he is a reflection of me.

7) I am not scared of my teen taking risks or choosing offbeat paths.
I encourage his courage.

NO > I want my teen to take safe, well trodden paths.

8) I am not driven by what the world chooses.
I am choosing what my teen is driven by.
