LEAP Tutor Application
Through the form below, please tell us about yourself, when you can start. We are only meeting remotely at this point. Students are sharing the same information, and we use this information to find a day/time that works for both of you.

After your application is received, you will be asked to provide information that will enable us to  conduct a background check (including your social security number, via phone).  We will  be invited to a tutor orientation session. After those steps are completed, you will eligible to be matched with a student!

At this point (January 12, 2022), we do not have a need for additional tutors, but things change, so please complete an application and email leigh.bordley@durhamleap.org, if you are interested in volunteering!

Have you allowed for traveling time etc as you've thought about what times you're available?  Do you need to modify these times? E.g. are you really not available until 4:15pm? It's really helpful to know this when we communicate with the families.
