Order your Orange bumper bar replacement
As part of our ongoing product monitoring programme, it was identified that a few iCandy Orange bumper bars were missing a plastic cap which results in there being a small hole in the bumper bar, visible at the base of the hinge mechanism. It should be noted that this hole is only accessible when the bumper bar has been removed and levered back on one side. This relates specifically to the following batches: E11076, 11125, 11147, 11159, 11160 of the Orange 2017 pushchair.

As with all iCandy products, extensive testing above and beyond the requirements of safety standards, including user trials were carried out. During the process of formal certification and due diligence, no fault was found with the bumper bar.

Upon notification of a plastic cap missing, further risk assessments were carried out. Quality control checks were increased in production and a 100% inspection was carried out of stock held. Immediate changes to the design and manufacturing process of this component were made. We would like to take this opportunity to request users to carry out a visible check of their product.
