Join Right To Read for our third Read It, Make It, Take It Summer Literacy Workshop. This year, we're offering a Back To School Kickoff for hands-on literacy enrichment experience designed to help children transition into the new school year feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn.

Through engaging picture books, literacy lessons, creative projects, games, and take-home resources, students will strengthen foundational literacy skills while building enthusiasm for the school year ahead.

Workshop Details
Dates: July 27th–31st, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM daily
Location: Memorial Church of Christ | 900 Echo Lane, Houston 77024
Cost: $385 per student

Enrollment is intentionally limited to preserve a high-quality small-group experience.

Each child will receive:

  • 5 curated back-to-school themed picture books to build their home library
  • Daily literacy instruction and enrichment activities
  • Hands-on creative projects and literacy games
  • Take-home literacy resources
  • Daily snack
