From 1st April 2025, Broad Bikez will be taking over management of 28 Whitmore road, the teaching/community space of London Bike Kitchen.

Broad Bikez is a registered CIC based in East London which, since 2021, has supported women and LGBTQI+ individuals to be more confident in cycling and learn to maintain their bikes by providing maintenance classes and led rides in a safe and inclusive environment. Since inception, we have been delivering from Well Space in Hackney and plan to expand the services we offer now we will have a permanent residence.

We plan for 28 Whitmore Road to be a combination community/social hub for cycling related events and  classes, allowing other female and LGBTQI+ focused cycling groups to use it when needed, and a bike workshop.

We’re apply for charitable funding to support this project and want to back up our bids with some feedback from the community and people who have attended activities with London Bike Kitchen in the past.
