The definition of ‘cool’ has been deliberately left open to interpretation to inspire a wide range of nominations and voting.
The award gives ECHs the opportunity to propose and vote on what they think it is the best paper of the past year (2015).
The paper does not need to be written by an ECH, however recommendation and voting can only be made by ECHs.
The prize will be awarded at the 2016 IAH Congress in Montpelier, France.
The winning author will receive a year’s free membership of IAH and an IAH book prize of his or her choice, and will be invited to deliver an oral presentation during the congress.
As an added bonus, when YOU nominate a paper YOU will be added into a prize draw to WIN a book of your choice from the IAH book series!
