AFK 2023 Board of Directors application
If you're interested in being considered for an open seat on the Board of Directors of Athens Forest Kindergarten, please fill out the brief form below. We'll be in touch to schedule an interview. Interviews will be held in May for Board seats that begin June 1. There are 1 year and 2 year seats open currently.

Here are the basic expectations of the role:
  • Monthly meetings via Zoom or in person; 1.5 hours.
  • Approximately 1 hour per week of tasks related to Board responsibilities: following up on projects or committees you've self-selected during meeting times.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the AFK Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Attendance and support at AFK events when possible!
  • An interest in being an ambassador for AFK in the community -- we are proud of our outdoor preschool program and all of our AFK Connects work including caregiver education, community playgroups, advocacy, and research.
