Thursdays at Lapeer Free Methodist Church

11:30-12:20 College Prep Writing+ (gr 9-12)
12:30-1:20 pm Writing Essentials: Informative Writing (gr 7-10)
1:30-2:20 pm  Writing is Magic: Creative Writing for Teens (grades 7-12)

Each class is $100 tuition + $10 copy fee = $110 total.

Each class will require a copy packet. That fee is $10 and is not included in tuition. Please pay that $10 fee immediately after registering.

Classes meet every Thursday at the Lapeer Free Methodist Church, 1621 N. Saginaw St., Lapeer.
Each class will meet ten times. The schedule will be taken from these 13 dates, but I cannot finalize the schedule yet. I will hope to announce the final schedule on the first day of class.

Class minimum is 8 students. Maximum will be 22.

This is for my information only and does not necessarily mean a child cannot attend a certain class. If you need more clarification, please note your concerns in the Any questions? text box.
HOMEWORK WILL BE REQUIRED EVERY WEEK, even on some weeks when we do not have class. Please check the box below to show that you understand this requirement.
Your student should plan to spend between 2-4 hours on writing homework each week. It is best to plan some writing time into each day's schedule.
Important Notes for Composition Classes *
Class fees are due two times throughout the semester $50 on January 23 and $50 at the 6th class session. You may also pay the entire fee on the first day of class. IMPORTANT: Once paid, class fees are NON-refundable - even if you drop the class. I do not offer refunds under any circumstances. I will work with you on a payment plan if necessary, but I will rely on you to follow through on your agreement to pay since these classes pay my bills. At least 8 students must enroll to ensure the class will be held. A maximum of 22 students will be accepted. AFTER REGISTERING, please send your $10 copy fee which must be paid ahead to hold your place in class.
