Thank you for your interest in joining the Future of Black Tourism!

To become an FOBT member, all member organizations must be Black-serving. Additionally, members must be Black-led and/or Black-run as follows:

Black-serving refers to organizations or networks serving a community that consists of at least 30% Black entrepreneurs, founders, creatives, and/or technologists working with emerging media (and at least 51% of the community consist of people of color).

Black-led refers to the most senior leader being Black.

Black-run refers to organizations or networks having at least 50% of senior leadership positions being held by Black people.

Additionally, member organizations must:

-          Have a mission related to the advancement of Black people in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
-          Operate according to a global, national, regional, or local footprint
-          Reflect and advance FOBT's values of trust, integrity, love, mutualism, and sustainability
-          Pledge to be anti-racist in their decisions, contributions, and how they wield their influence
