Miami VR Expo aims to partner with local nonprofits who passionately serve Miami Dade County and surrounding communities. For this upcoming event, we will partner with organizations, the most important aspect of these partnerships is volunteer recruitment and developing brand support. Each of our Nonprofit Partners will recruit their own group of volunteers to serve at Miami VR Expo at the WareHouse located at Magic City Innovation District.
If your organization would like to be on our list to get involved, please familiarize yourself with our volunteer guidelines below and fill out the volunteer form by Friday, May 25, 2018.
Cold water is available to expo volunteers throughout the weekend at Volunteer Central. We are not able to provide meals to our festival volunteer workforce through Miami VR Expo. Please make arrangements to purchase meals from our wonderful vendors ahead of time.
SCHEDULING:All volunteers will be scheduled to work one four hour shift. Evenings and late- nights are when we have our biggest need for volunteers, and we must insure that all areas are covered.
Please indicate your preferences on the application by checking the areas you would prefer to work.Want to volunteer with friends? We will make every effort to accommodate you. Make sure you both indicate this preference on your application. If we are not able to assign you to the same area, we will at least assign you to work the same shift times.
COMPENSATION:Currently, we are offering Community Hours. We will be able to offer monetary rewards, however, this will be determined closer to the event.
