RULES- All the inputs and outputs of this challenge must be covered by recognized open source and creative commons licensing.- Teams can have maximum of 5 members.
- All participants should be less than 35 years of age, on the day of the registration.
- All of the Reboot the Earth Tech Challenges will be conducted in English.
- The organizer does not cover the cost of travel to the Tech Challenge venues. Participants will need to cover their own cost of travel, accommodations, etc.
OPEN SOURCE & INNOVATION PRINCIPLESThroughout this challenge, the participants will be encouraged to follow the Principles for Digital Development, which have been developed by United Nations Agencies Funds and Programmes and endorsed by International Organizations worldwide. PRIZESOne person from the selected willing team from each challenge location will win a trip to New York City to the “Reboot the Earth” Award ceremony taking place on 21 September, 2019 at the side event of the United Nations Climate Action Summit 2019.
The winning solution has a chance to be incubated at one of the global United Nations Technology Innovation Labs.
Final solutions will stand a chance to be showcased during the week of the World Economic Forum at Davos in January 2020.
