Converge Con 2020 Speaker Application Form
Presenter Applications are open, and we are so excited to see what you've got planned this year! Please fill out the following form to apply to present at Converge Con, April 4 & 5, 2020. For further info, check out our FAQ page: www.convergecon.ca/faq

A note from Kale about what we are looking for in 2020:

I recently finished reading a book called Pleasure Activism by adrienne maree brown. And I am really loving this idea of combining pleasure and activism, and pleasure being a form of activism. Let's weave in our politics! From how we can experience more pleasure to supporting sex worker's rights to healing from trauma. One part of producing Converge that brings me so much joy is seeing other activist and sex educators connect, and go on to create things after the con is over. I think it would be great for Converge to facilitate more of this. So it would be great if you could weave that into your applications!

As conference producers, we must take any allegations of misconduct by our speakers seriously. If you were selected to be a presenter at Converge, and someone came forward with information about a consent violation they had experienced, do you have any procedures in place to address it? This could look like an accountability pod, a way for people to contact you directly or anonymously, or some other measure you have taken. For a really great example of this, feel free to check out the website of one of our previous speakers, Victor Salmon: https://goo.gl/pHtwTF *
