2021 Parent Advocacy Program

The Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce 2021-2022 Parent Advocacy Program.

The Parent Advocacy Program was designed to educate Charter parents to advocate for their schools and child during these pivotal times.

The program provides parents with essential advocacy training from key individuals in their community who have advocacy experience. The skills gained in training will parents articulate their voice to help keep elected officials focused on their child's needs. The parents will learn Advocacy 101, Media Preparation, and How to Run from Office. This training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting December 9th at 6 pm.  


Participants must be Charter Parents


Provide Fortune School parents training in advocacy through a cohort-based program organized by the Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce.
