Neutral Ground 2026 Signup
Neutral Ground, or NG, is a monthly all-ages matinee show presented by the Reno Punk Rock Flea Market (RPRFM) non-profit. 

Neutral Ground features new bands and veterans bands who are trying out new material. We give preference to bands who are new to the scene and traveling bands who have never played a Reno show before but all bands are welcome to apply. 

The mission is to create safe, inclusive spaces for musicians and fans in Reno. NG is the perfect place for new bands to get a start. We strongly encourage brand new bands to apply. Never played a show before? No problem, that's what NG is all about! 

Neutral Ground takes place on the last Sunday of the month from 4pm - 7pm. 

We host this show at various locations including The Holland Project, 4th Street Coffee, and West Street Market depending on venue availability. All spaces are all ages.

Compensation:
All bands who perform at Neutral Ground will be paid for their time and performance. Some Neutral Ground events are free of charge through various grants from the Nevada Arts Council and the City of Reno. We do not backline equipment at NG. All bands must bring their own gear. We do supply sound & mics/mic stands.

Compensation is as follows:
  • $100 per local band
  • $150 per band (who travels more than 60 miles)
Please note:
  • We always ask the bands if they'd like to make the flyer. It's way cooler to get other artists in the mix and have varied styles for flyers! When making the flyer please include the following: Date, Time, Location, Bands, Neutral Ground Logo (Special organization logos may also be required if NG is being supported by a grant)

We are creating a roster for all of 2026. Please let us know if there are any months that will not work for you. We will reach out to book you for a month as spots are open but we would love to have your band on our roster for all future events. 

Please note: We prioritize bands who've never played and we we will not book bands two consecutive Neutral Ground shows.
