PPE Supplies for Frontline Healthcare Providers
Hello,

We are Dalhousie medical students and we are contacting you as part of an effort to help protect our frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As you may be aware, hospitals are at risk of running low on personal protective equipment (PPE). This puts healthcare workers at significant risk of being exposed to COVID-19. Therefore, if you are able to, we were wondering if you would be willing to donate any unused PPE or partially used boxes of gloves to help our frontline healthcare workers.

At this time, we are specifically looking for:
- N95 and surgical/procedure masks
- Disposable gloves
- Protective gowns
- Face shields/goggles
- Nasopharyngeal swabs
- Hand sanitizer

At this time, we are coordinating community pick-ups. In the interim, please fill out this google form and we will be in touch with further details about picking-up the donations. Large donations of needed items may be prioritized for early pick up but all donations are greatly appreciated. We understand if you need to use the supplies in the interim; however, if you are able to hold on to them, we will collect them to donate in the coming weeks.

Thank you very much for taking the time to consider making such an important donation. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact ppehalifaxdrive@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

COVID-19 PPE Drive Team - Dalhousie University, NS
