دعوة للمشاركة في الهاكاثون

الهاكاثون هو حدث ريادي يعمل خلاله المشاركون من خلفيات مختلفة بشكل مكثف على مشاريع مشتركة بهدف إنتاج حل مبتكر أو نموذج أولي. يجب عليهم القيام بذلك عادة خلال فترة محدودة وقصيرة.

بمناسبة عام القصص المرسومة (BD) ، سيركز هذا الموسم من الهاكاثون على إنتاج قصص مرسومة رقمية فرنسية عربية (Digital Comics). سيعقد هذا الحدث في وقت واحد في القدس وغزة ورام الله.
ستجمع المسابقة بين المشاركين من ذوي الخبرات والمهارات المتنوعة في فرق تتكون من : المطورين والمدرسين / طلاب اللغة الفرنسية وكتاب السيناريو والرسامين.
سيحصل كل فريق على ثلاثة أيام لتقديم اللوحات الأولى من القصص المرسومة الرقمية باللغتين العربية والفرنسية.

يقدم هذا المشروع كجزء من نوفمبر الرقمي 2020 Numérique November للمعهد الفرنسي في القدس. وبهذه المناسبة ، سيتم تقديم معرض "Bubble Machines" للسماح للجمهور والمشاركين في الهاكاثون باكتشاف الإبداع الفرنسي في موضوع القصص المرسومة الرقمية  Digital Comics.

الموضوع:

لقد غيّر وباء فيروس كورونا العالم بشكل دائم عمّا عرفناه حتى الآن. ولقد جعلتنا فترة الحبس نفكر في علاقتنا بالعالم وبالآخرين. لكن كيف سيبدو العالم بعد ذلك؟

ما هي القصة المرسومة الرقمية؟

أكثر من مجرد شريط كوميدي بسيط يمكن تحويله إلى منتج رقمي، فإن القصة المرسومة الرقمية تجعل من الممكن نقل الفن التاسع إلى وسائط جديدة وبالتالي تقديم أشكال جديدة من السرد. هذا التغيير في الشكل يجعل من الممكن قلب الرموز وتطوير أفكار سردية جديدة لا يمكن تحقيقها على وسيط ورقي.
يتم التفكير في القصص المرسومة الرقمية وتطويرها بشكل مباشر للوسائط الرقمية وعليها. تتيح هذه الوسيلة الجديدة أيضًا، بفضل توزيعها عبر الإنترنت ، الوصول إلى جمهور أكبر بكثير من الرسوم الورقية.
ومع ذلك، مثل أي ابتكار حديث ، يجب ابتكار كل شيء، ولا يزال هناك العديد من الأفكار السردية لاستكشافها ونموذج العمل بحاجة إلى التطوير.

ستنظم في بداية الهاكاثون عروض التقديمية (عن القصص المرسومة العربية، والقصص المرسومة الرقمية، وما إلى ذلك) وستتمكن الفرق من الاعتماد على برنامج الرسم والتحريك المطور PandaSuite  لتنفيذ مشروعهم.
سيتابع المشرفون (المتخصصون في الرسوم الهزلية المصورة) التقدم المحرز في المشاريع ويكونوا قادرين على توجيه الفرق المختلفة.

معايير الاختيار

- يمكن تقديم الطلبات بشكل فردي أو في فريق يتم تشكيله (في حدود 4 أعضاء لكل فريق)
-  يجب أن يمتلك كل فريق مجموعة من المهارات (الرسم ، كتابة المحتوى، تحريك الشخصيات/ابتكار الشخصيات ، واللغة الفرنسية)
-  الهاكاثون مفتوح للهواة والمحترفين.
-  يجب أن يتمكن أعضاء كل فريق من الاجتماع في الموقع المحدد (إما في القدس أو غزة أو رام الله) في 1 و 2 و 3 ديسمبر.
-  يجب أن يكون عمر المتقدم 18 عامًا أو أكثر وأن يكون من الجنسية الفلسطينية.
-  يجب إرسال الطلبات حتى تاريخ 15  نوفمبر.
- ستختار لجنة التحكيم الفرق والمشاركين.

سيتم تقييم المتقدمين وفقًا للمعايير التالية:

-  خبرة في المهارات المختلفة المطلوبة.
-  الكفاءة اللغوية (لمرشحي اللغة الفرنسية).
-  جودة المشاريع المنجزة سابقاً. سيتم استخدام المستندات المرفقة للاختيار.
-  أصالة المشروع.
- دافع إنجاز المشروع.

جوائز الفائزين:

ستقرر لجنة تحكيم مكونة من خبراء الفائزين من بين المشاركين:
المركز الأول:  10،000 شيكل + إقامة في فرنسا لتطوير المشروع (فريق الأربعة أشخاص)
المركز الثاني : 5000 شيكل فقط

إشعار قانوني
سيبقى العمل ملكًا للفنان ولكن سيتم استخدامه من قبل المعهد الفرنسي والشركاء أثناء المشروع ويمكن إعادة استخدامه لأغراض غير تجارية مع المعلومات المسبقة للفنانين.
مسابقة الهاكاثون هي مشروع مقترح من قبل المعهد الفرنسي في القدس بالشراكة مع Hexa Business و مؤسسة النيزك.
يجب ألا تتعارض المشاريع المرسلة مع تعليمات الجهات الرسمية.



Digital Comic Hackathon
Call for participation in the Hackathon

Gaza, Ramallah, Jerusalem
December 1, 2 & 3, 2020
A hackathon is a thematic event during which participants from various backgrounds work intensively on joint projects to produce an innovative solution or a prototype. They must do this over a limited and usually short period.
On the occasion of the Year of Comics, this edition of the hackathon will focus on the production of a Franco-Arab digital comic. This event will be held simultaneously in Gaza, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.
The competition will bring together participants with varied expertise and skills in teams: developers, teachers/students of French, scriptwriters, and illustrators.
Each team will have three days to present the first plates of a digital comic in Arabic and French.

This project is presented as part of the November Numérique 2020 of the French Institute in Jerusalem. On this occasion, the "Bubble Machines" exhibition will be presented to allow the public and the participants of the hackathon to discover French creation in Digital Comics.

Thematic :

The coronavirus pandemic has permanently changed the world as we have known it until now. The confinement period made us reflect on our relationship with the world and others. But what will the world look like afterward?

What is Digital Comic?

More than a simple comic strip that would be digitized, the digital comic makes it possible to transpose the 9th art onto new media and thus offer new forms of narration. This change of format makes it possible to upset the codes and to develop new narrative ideas that could not be realized on a paper medium.

Digital Comics are directly thought and developed for and on digital media. This new medium also makes it possible, thanks to its online distribution, to reach a much larger audience than paper comics.
However, like any recent innovation, everything remains to be invented, there are still many narrative ideas to explore and the business model needs to be developed.

Presentations will take place at the start of the hackathon (on Arabic comics, digital comics, etc.) and teams will be able to rely on PandaSuite software to carry out their project.
Mentors (comic strip professionals) will follow the progress of the projects and will be able to guide the different teams.

Selection criteria
- Applications are possible individually or in an already formed team (within the limit of 4 members per team).
- Each team must have skills, such as (Drawing, Script, Animation/ Coding, Concept artists, French).
- The hackathon is open to amateurs as well as professionals.
- The members of each team must be able to meet at a site (either in Ramallah, Gaza, or Jerusalem) on December 1, 2, and 3.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or over and be of Palestinian nationality.
- Applications must be sent before November 15th.
- A jury will select the teams and participants.


Applicants will be assessed according to the following criteria:

- Experience in the various skills required.
- Linguistic competence (for French-language candidates).
- Quality of previously completed projects. The documents attached to the applications will be used for the selection.
- Originality of the project.
- Motivation.

Prizes for the winners:

A jury composed of experts will decide between the participants
1st place:
10,000 NIS + a stay in France to develop the project (for 4 people)
2nd place:
5,000 NIS

Legal notice
The work will stay the property of the artist but will be used by the French Institute and the partners during the project and maybe re-used for non-commercial purposes with the prior information of the artists.
The Hackathon contest is a project proposed by the French Institute in Jerusalem, in partnership with Hexa Business and Al Nayzak.
Projects sent must not contravene the instructions of the official authorities.
