AMUNC 2018: Leadership Team Application for UNSW Delegation
The UNSW UN Society will be sending a Delegation to the Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference from the 8th - 13th of July, which will be held very close to home - the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

As a result, we are now opening the positions of Co-Head Delegate and Welfare Officer for AMUNC 2018. While going to any conference is a fantastic opportunity to make connections and develop your skills, for those who want an enhanced and more demanding experience in terms of leadership are encouraged to apply for the Leadership Team, especially if you have any relevant welfare or leadership experience.

Co-Head Delegates must be able to:
- Train Delegates before the conference, attending up to a maximum of six (6) training days;
- Organise Delegation logistics (including potentially accommodation, travel, and social events);
- Communicate important information to Delegates;
- Manage the Delegation during the conference;
- Potentially remain sober for at least one night of the conference;
- Foster Delegation spirit as a team and promote UNSoc at large.

Welfare Officers must be able to:
- Get to know everyone in the Delegation;
- Ensure that all Delegates abide by the Delegation and conference codes of conduct;
- Be the first port of call for Delegates experiencing welfare concerns;
- Attend all (or most) social nights in their entirety;
- Remain sober for some nights of the conference.

Unlike previous UNSW UN Society external conference Delegations, due to the scope, scale and proximity of AMUNC 2018, we will be open to taking as many as three (3) Co-Head Delegates and six (6) Welfare Officers (although final numbers are subject to change).

Successful applicants will be invited for further interviews, with applications for positions closing on the 9th of April at 8.00 PM.
