Hello, we hope you can join us for the annual JETAA Toronto Career Round Table and Networking Reception.
This event is a chance for former JET Programme participants along with their fellow colleagues and contacts across various industries to get together and strengthen ties while learning about current practices and trends across a wide variety of industries and areas. Speaker profiles will be posted to the JETAA Toronto Facebook page and website in the next few weeks.

The JET Alumni Association of Toronto was founded in the fall of 1991 as a forum for former participants of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. The objectives of the association are as follows:
To provide a network for former participants of the JET Programme via regular social events and the JETAA Toronto newsletter;
To support the efforts of the Consulate General of Japan with the promotion, recruitment and preparation of new participants for the JET Programme (this includes the conducting of a comprehensive pre-departure orientation for new participants); and
To liaise with other Japan-related organizations working to build strong ties of friendship between Canada and Japan

The JET Programme Alumni Association (JETAA) is a self-supporting alumni association which was created in 1989 to strengthen and maintain the bonds of friendship developed between JET Programme participants. The purpose of JETAA is to promote through its activities a broader and deeper understanding between Japan and the countries participating on the JET Programme. JETAA currently has 52 regional chapters located in 15 countries/regions and over 26,000 members.(exact timing subject to change)
