The Cougar Pride (Marching Band) is an active performing ensemble that practices during late May/early June as well as the last half of July. They also practice 3-4 days a week after school during the competition season (ending in early November). In addition to continued study of advanced instrumental technique, flag and weapon techniques, and musicianship, this group is an active ensemble with many performing opportunities to utilize these acquired skills.
By completing this form, you understand that a commitment has been made to: 1) all the other members of the Cougar Pride (one of the largest student organization at Greenfield Central High School), 2) that you will strive to always do your best and 3) that you will be in attendance during ALL practices and performances except in the case of emergency or with prior approval.
Please fill this form out completely by Monday, May 13th. You will also want to download and save the full season calendar and handbook for future reference. These will be available on the website,
gcbands.org soon. There is also a form for you to sign up for volunteer opportunities. Volunteers not only help us complete our mission for students, but they also build friendships with other parents, get to actively see their child's involvement in the program, and hopefully have a lot of fun as well! Please consider finding a way to get involved!
