Ash wood, green roofed, bike shed build! Volunteer sign-up
Join us on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 8 AM - noon, at the RCTC Heintz Center, 1926 College View Road East, Rochester, MN, west parking lot (across from OMC Hospital) to build an ash wood bike shed that will ultimately have a green roof (installed next spring).

Volunteers will be most helpful if they have: some construction experience, sturdy, closed-toed shoes, are dressed to build and dressed for the weather.

If volunteers have and can bring these materials that will be very helpful: skill saw, cordless drills, and hammers.

For questions or comments contact Angela Gupta, UMN Extension,, 507-280-2869.

Materials, time and expertise for this project have been donated by the RCTC Horticulture Department; CRW architecture + design group; Intectural, Arbor Wood Co; and University of Minnesota Extension Forestry with support from the the Minnesota State Wood Innovation Team.
